Our Philosophy:
ATTA STUDIO was founded in 2011 by Mr. Pongsakorn Aunpradit and Mr. Borritat Sawantrat as a design studio in Phuket, with a focus on tropical architecture. The firm specializes in residential projects, hotels, condominiums, and private houses. Drawing from their diverse backgrounds, Mr. Borritat brought extensive experience from designing five-star hotels overseas, while Mr. Pongsakorn had expertise in real estate development planning and urban design. This combination laid the foundation for a design approach that addresses Thailand’s hot and humid climate.
As their practice evolved, ATTA STUDIO developed a deeper understanding of architecture as something that must serve people, communities, and the world. Their design philosophy emphasizes well-being design, which enhances quality of life, alongside passive design, which relies on natural principles to allow building users to reconnect with nature - nurturing both body and mind. This vision guides their commitment to creating architecture that embraces sustainability, balancing people, nature, and habitation.
Today, ATTA STUDIO operates from its headquarters in Bangkok and its branch office in Phuket, continuing to produce works shaped by the concept of rethinking sustainability.
Our Story
ATTA Studio was founded by two architect friends who share a passion for Modern Tropical Architecture. One of the founders, Tum Pongsakorn Onpradit, brings a strong background in urban planning, project development, and residential design, including private houses and condominiums. He later joined forces with Benz Britat Swantrachat, whose professional experience spans the design of leading resort and hotel projects in Thailand and abroad. ATTA Studio was established in Phuket in 2012, grounded in a deep understanding of local context and coastal living. In 2019, the practice expanded with the opening of a Bangkok office. Today, the studio focuses primarily on the design of residential projects, resort hotels, condominiums, and private homes, combining contextual sensitivity with contemporary architectural thinking.
